Lead Mammography Technologist Breast Imaging

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Mammography Technologist to join a high-performing outpatient imaging team in Humble, TX. This role is responsible for performing high-quality mammography imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining compliance with radiology standards and breast imaging protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Ensure accurate imaging quality for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures
• Follow radiation safety standards and quality control procedures
• Support workflow coordination within the breast imaging department
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license – required
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) – required
• ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M) – required
• Prior experience in mammography or breast imaging strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a patient care focus
