Lead Patient Admissions Coordinator - Patient Access at Providence  St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Full Time and will work <40>-hour, Evening shifts.

Registers patients upon arrival for either inpatient or outpatient services, which includes interviewing the patient to secure demographic and financial information, preparing documents for signature, assigning rooms and/or directing patients to the appropriate services area where services will be rendered. Assists the Patient Registration Supervisor in the day-to-day functions of the department on assigned shift. Assigns work, schedules employees, trains new employees, and disciplines subordinates as necessary. Will also be responsible for relieving and/or ensuring adequate coverage for scheduled employee meal breaks.

• 1 year of experience in hospital Admitting/Patient Registration.

• Bachelor's Degree


• Supervisory experience.
