We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced and service-oriented team member to join Winters Healthcare as our Lead Patient Service Representative (Lead PSR).
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, the Patient Service Representative team plays an essential role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and positive experience for everyone who interacts with Winters Healthcare. Whether assisting patients at the front desk, answering phone calls, helping navigate appointments, or connecting patients with resources, PSRs help ensure every patient feels valued, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
The Lead PSR serves as a key resource for the front office team, providing daily support to Patient Service Representatives while partnering closely with the Revenue Cycle Manager to ensure efficient operations and exceptional patient service. This role is instrumental in coordinating front office workflows, supporting staff development, helping resolve patient concerns, and maintaining a positive and professional environment for both patients and employees.

Summary of Duties
Under the general supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager, the Lead Patient Service Representative (PSR) will perform a wide range of duties in the medical department. Tasks primarily involve providing a high level of support for Patient Service Representatives. The Lead PSR will be key to leading the team in managing patient schedules and will partner with the Revenue Cycle Manager to ensure adequate coverage and front office resources to provide quality care to our patients. The Lead PSR will ensure the front office provides a high level of customer service for all patients.

Foundational Onboarding Period
All newly hired employees are expected to complete an 8-week (320-hour) Foundational Onboarding Period at 40 hours per week. This period is designed to support training, integration, and success in the role.
During onboarding, employees are paid at their standard hourly rate for 40 hours worked. Upon successful completion of the onboarding period, employees transition to the 32-hour workweek and receive compensation equivalent to 40 hours per week, in alignment with the 4DWW structure.
Internal Transfer Onboarding Period
Employees transitioning into a new position within Winters Healthcare are expected to complete a 4-week (120-hour) Internal Transfer Onboarding Period. This period is designed to provide role-specific training, support a successful transition, and help employees build the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their new role.
During this onboarding period, employees will work a standard 40-hour schedule and be compensated at their regular hourly rate for all hours worked.
Upon successful completion of the onboarding period, employees will transition to the 4 Day Work Week (4DWW) schedule and compensation structure applicable to their position.

While performing the duties and tasks of this job, Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; work on irregular surfaces; reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear; and taste or smell. Employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, twist, or crawl. This job requires physical effort, and the ability to place or retrieve items below waist level may be required.
Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee may occasionally be required to transfer patients to and from a wheelchair.

Environmental/Working Conditions
The environment is a standard office environment. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday. Occasionally, evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required. Office hours may be changed as business needs dictate.
While performing the duties of this job, Employee may occasionally be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, required to work near moving mechanical parts and sharp instruments, and may be at risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
