Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Project Estimator for a dynamic role in Engineering & Construction. As a senior-level contributor, you will play a pivotal role in developing project estimates and pricing models for various technologies in the renewable energy sector. This role offers the opportunity to lead estimation efforts across energy storage, pipelines, transmission lines, substations, and more, contributing to the growth and innovation of sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of capital expenditure (CapEx) models, covering engineering, material, direct construction, and indirect construction costs.
• Review designs and specifications for cost-effectiveness and propose alternatives as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and optimize resource utilization.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure accurate project cost estimates.
• Establish and apply metrics for validating cost and construction estimates.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in project estimation, with a strong background in construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil), Construction Science, or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of experience in project estimation with 5+ years in the field.
• Prior experience in renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
