Lead Security Officer - Security

The Security Sergeant plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patient, visitors, and staff within the hospital environment. With direct oversight of an assigned team of security officers, the Sergeant works under the supervision of the Security Supervisor and reports to the Security Manager with the responsibilities of maintaining a balanced flow of work within the department, responding to calls for service, enforcing hospital and department policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED

• Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information. 

• 3 years Current experience as a Providence Southwest Region Security Officer. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 1 year Previous law enforcement or military training.
