Job Description

The Lead, Strategic Insights & Analytics - Portfolio Strategic Programs will be responsible for managing key initiatives within SIA to ensure connectivity, enhance efficiency and drive innovation across therapeutic areas. The role partners closely with SIA teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This role is responsible for managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication while ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational standards. The SIA Portfolio Strategic Programs Lead will drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement throughout the projects’ lifecycles.

The position requires strong leadership, project management, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as a willingness to pursue innovative, risk aware solutions that address business needs across Innovative Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements strategic objectives based on industry insights and organizational objectives, involves working with cross functional teams, in support of the organization's overall Marketing Insights & Analytic strategy.
  • Leverages advanced analytical models and delivers recommendations for improved operations.
  • Advises management on new industry trends to incorporate into the marketing strategy and key performance indicators.
  • Consults with internal stakeholders on marketing data and consumer behavior trends to drive strategies that maximize the customer experience.
  • Develops marketing team methods for reporting and advanced analysis of consumer data and knowledge.
  • Monitors team performance against key thresholds to ensure key targets are being met.
  • Applies industry intelligence to formulate customer solutions aligned with organizational and marketing objectives.
  • Participates in discussions on critical issues with internal stakeholders to promote new marketing initiatives based on analytical insights.
  • Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.
  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Qualifications and Experience

Required

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 7 years of relevant business experience in market research, business intelligence, marketing, sales, business analytics, strategic planning, or management consulting.
  • Knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of market research and analytics approaches with the ability to identify appropriate methodologies to address business questions
  • Proven success partnering across business teams to integrate research insights and relevant analytics/data and then translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Fluency in developing effective presentations through compelling visualizations of insights with comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and integrity to define key business questions with a focused approach to problem solving.
  • High degree of comfort navigating ambiguity and striking the right balance between research rigor and speed to decision making
  • Ability to prioritize, refine, and execute multiple projects concurrently.
  • Therapeutic area experience across multiple disease areas

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
