Lead System Engineer

Fortune 100 Aerospace and Defense contractor

Lead System Engineer-     Tucson, AZ 85737       7-8 months plus contract

Basic Qualifications: -Engineering or Applied Physics Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of systems development experience

US citizenship required to support government projects and programs

Ability to obtain government clearances as necessary

Experience with complex electronic controller developments generally, of most interest would be candidates with gas turbine engine and cabin pressure control products and systems (desired experience with Honeywell electric power products). –

Familiarity with industry standards pertinent to electronic systems development, particularly Aerospace standards. -Familiarity with reliability concepts and safety and reliability engineering tools such as FTA and FMECA

Demonstrated experience in any of the following fields; Electronic systems architecture and design Planning and Specification creation and review activities Systems design activity, where detailed integration with hardware or software design was required Unit environmental qualification activity including planning, execution and results reporting. –

Knowledge of FAA and EASA certification requirements, or experience working in an environment where such requirements applied. -Experience with systems engineering tools for example requirements management tools such as DOORs.

Familiarity with Electronic Unit mechanical design and CCA production environments and “design for manufacturability” concepts.  

Lead experience with respect to system engineering, degree, strong electronics systems experience, DOORs, and knowledge of FAA certs/requirements.

-7-8 months contract

-Pay( 55-60/hour)
