Lead VPK Teacher

Job description

Ladybird Academy of Ocoee is seeking professional, experienced Lead VPK Teachers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, every single day. As a Lead VPK Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising your children at all times, implementing lesson plans, completing daily reports, help train Assistant Teachers, provide positive feedback to parents, while maintaining a safe and secure environment for the children in your classroom.

This is a full-time, 36-40 hour per week position. Hours can vary depending on the needs of the school and applicants must be available for shift work between the hours of 6:30am & 6:30pm.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have Early Childhood Education experience
• Must have DCF 45 hour training requirement and/or CDA, or an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development
• Must have DCF VPK Lead Teacher Training Requirements
• Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player and have reliable transportation
