Leader For Paint Line

LEADPERSON - PAINT LINE - 1st SHIFT 5:30 am - 4:00 pm

Full-time position for a Leadperson for the Powder Coat Paint Line at South Buffalo Manufacturer. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities include the coordination and participation in full operation of cell to meet production schedule and consistent with operational strategy. Lead person must perform tasks within cell for a majority of the workday as a "hands-on:" leader. Must review daily orders and prioritize tasks taking into account customer due dates, job specifications, order balancing and resources available. Trains team members on cell responsibilities, promoting flexibility for teammates. Must set a good example for coworkers and be a person who exhibits a positive attitude toward company goals and initiatives. Must utilize various tools and equipment including manual and power tools. Must work as part of a team and assist in other areas of the company as needed.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent),


• Prior leadership experience


• Exceptional work record


• Highly dependable as exhibited by attendance records,


• Basic mechanical ability helpful,


• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.


• Good communication skills


• Good time management


• Ability to prioritize workload


• Strong organizational skills


• Prior successful work experience in the department is helpful

Full Time, Day Shift, $18.00 - $26.00/hour based on experience.
