Job Description - Leadership

At Chick-fil-A we have 4 levels of Leadership: Certified Trainer, Operations Captain, Operations Director and Executive Director.

Leadership opportunities are full-time restaurant positions working 40-50 hours per week. Responsibilities include: shift leadership, scheduling, inventory, and all aspects of food safety and food quality.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Strong Sense of Character
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
  • Sustained, excellence performance is required
  • "Core 4" Recipe for Service: Create Eye Contact, Share a smile, Speak with a Friendly Tone, Always say " My Pleasure."
  • Practice 2nd Mile Service with a servant attitude and generosity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Team work characteristics
  • Leading a shift of 25-35 people and an overall team of 100+employees
  • Spirit of Hospitality
  • College Degree preferred

  • Vision: The ability to set a clear direction and inspire others to follow it.

  • Adaptability: Being flexible and open to change, and able to navigate uncertainty.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify problems, generate solutions, and implement them effectively.
  • Team Building: The ability to build, motivate, and manage a team to achieve goals.
  • Conflict Resolution: Managing and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.
  • Delegation: Assigning tasks appropriately and trusting team members to execute them.

Most Chick-fil-A® Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners

who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own

content and policies.
