Learning Center Coordinator

About Think Zone

We are seeking a Part-Time Learning Center Coordinator to support the management and day-to-day operations of both our Millbrae and Redwood City Learning Centers. This is a multi-location role, and the selected candidate will work across both centers based on scheduling and operational needs.

In this role, you will work closely with the Center Managers and serve as a key operational partner in ensuring both locations run smoothly. You will help oversee daily center operations, support tutors, communicate with students and families, coordinate schedules and center activities, and step in to help manage day-to-day center needs when necessary.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable taking initiative, and excited about working in a fast-paced education environment. About the Role

We are looking for a Learning Center Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of both our Millbrae and Redwood City Learning Centers.

Working closely with the Center Managers, you will serve as a key operational partner and help ensure both centers run smoothly. This role combines center operations, student and family support, tutor coordination, and community engagement and is ideal for someone interested in developing toward a future management role.

This is a multi-location position, and candidates must be comfortable commuting to and working at both locations based on scheduling and center needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Center Managers with daily operations across the Millbrae and Redwood City locations


• Help coordinate class schedules, staffing, center activities, materials, and other operational needs


• Serve as a key point of contact for students and families and help provide a welcoming, high-quality center experience


• Assist with tutor onboarding, scheduling, communication, and day-to-day coordination


• Help identify and resolve operational or scheduling issues as they arise


• Support student retention, family engagement, referrals, and other center growth initiatives


• Assist with local marketing, community events, and school outreach


• Step in to support center operations and take on additional responsibilities when Center Managers are unavailable

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills


• Dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative


• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


• Comfortable working with students, parents, tutors, and team members


• Interest in education, operations, customer service, or team leadership


• Able to reliably commute to both Millbrae and Redwood City


• Previous experience in education, customer service, operations, or team coordination is a plus


• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree preferred
