Legal Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.

Job Duties:

• 
  Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence


• 
  Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.


• 
  Answer and direct phone calls


• 
  Assist attorneys in any and all administrative tasks

​Qualifications:

• 
  Previous experience as a Criminal Defense or Civil Legal Assistant/Secretary preferred but not mandatory


• 
  Ability to prioritize and multitask


• 
  Deadline driven and detail-oriented


• 
  Familiarity with legal procedures and protocols,


• 
  Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office


• 
  Excellent secretarial and organizational skills


• 
  Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure


• 
  Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
