Position Details

📍 In-Office | New York City
🕘 Monday–Friday | 9 AM – 5 PM

This is a full-time, in-office role based at our NYC location. We offer a welcoming, high-performance environment where your voice matters and your work truly makes an impact.

What You’ll Do

As our Legal Assistant, you’ll support our legal team in delivering excellent service to clients. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and filing legal documents with USCIS


• Managing FOIA and FBI background check submissions


• Organizing and maintaining case files, both physical and digital


• Communicating with clients to gather required documents and information


• Assisting with administrative duties and contributing to process improvements

Who You Are

Requirements:

• A high school diploma, GED, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree is required


• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through


• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately, especially around sensitive topics


• Comfortable working in a structured and collaborative office setting


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software


• Must be able to work in person at our NYC office, Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of office, administrative, or customer service experience


• Spanish fluency (verbal and written) is a plus, but not required
