The Opportunity

As our Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury Pre-Litigation department, you will have the opportunity to assist our Paralegals and Attorneys in progressing our wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases through pre-litigation.

Accountable for

Prepare documents for filing.

Draft complaints and minor’s compromises.

Understand and monitor court deadlines and statute of limitations.

Communicate with clients in an effective and courteous manner.

Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

1+ year(s) of experience drafting complaints.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.

Detail oriented.

Experience working in Personal Injury law a huge plus.

Type at least 40 WPM.

Compensation

$21.64-$31.25/hourly ($45,000 - $65,000) depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives
