Lending Services Specialist - Full-Time - Louisville, KY

Summary

Reporting to the Lending Services Manager, this full-time, non exempt hourly position is responsible for lending related support duties. This includes support as it relates to lending compliance, lending documents, lending reporting and balancing, core lending software, third party lending software, and quality control of completed loans. The Lending Services Specialist will be responsible for development and testing of new lending products and functions. Perform all support related duties for the lending area, as needed, including assisting other employees with lending related issues.                                                                                                       

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

1. Provide phone support to employees when a Lending related policy, procedure, or system question or issue presents.


2. Order lending documents through our provider and work with IT staff to create electronic lending forms and remote solutions, including working with applicable vendors.


3. Quality Control duties, including auditing of signed documents, review of correct archival process to Synergy on completed loan packages, and review of unsigned and unarchived documents that need additional action.


4. Responsible for Credit Bureau disputes and related support.


5. Help create and maintain policies and procedures for all lending related functions of the Credit Union, while making sure those policies and procedures are compliant to rules and regulations.


6. Help research, develop, and test new lending products, services, software, programming, and create procedures for such.


7. Research and provide loans or loan data to the auditors, supervisory committee, and examiners when requested.


8. Verify, add, remove, and maintain all Credit Union liens on auto loans.


9. Practice confidentiality when appropriate in employee matters and Credit Union operations.


10. Cooperate and work together as a team with co-workers, maintain a neat work area, and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Certifications

• A high school education or GED required.


• A two-year college degree preferred.


• 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience required.
