Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location:

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a flexible hybrid position offering a combination of in-office collaboration and remote work.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar and have 2+ years of relevant personal injury defense or liability claims defense experience.

Job Description

• Manage general liability and personal injury defense matters from opening through resolution
• Develop case strategy and communicate recommendations to clients
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs and motions
• Attend court hearings, mediations, conferences, and other proceedings
• Assist with trial preparation and case resolution strategy
• Manage discovery, deadlines, reporting requirements, and active litigation calendars
• Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, corporate clients, insureds, opposing counsel, and courts
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex liability matters

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal injury defense or liability claims defense experience
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing
• Experience managing litigation matters and discovery
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Deposition experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent time management, organization, and client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
• Collaborative and detail-oriented approach

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 

$120,000 to $130,000 for 2 to 3 years; 

$130,000 to $140,000 for 4 to 5 years; $140,000 to 

$150,000 for 6+ years.
