Job Description - Licensed Clinical Team Lead

At Heartland Family Service, we are committed to building a culture that is trauma informed and values and celebrates diversity and inclusion. We believe this allows for better service delivery and innovation, as it encourages our employees to bring various experiences and uniqueness to the workplace.

Trauma Informed Care is an approach to engaging people with histories of trauma that recognizes the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledges the role that trauma has played in their lives.  Trauma Informed Care also acknowledges the effects of working with trauma survivors on our workforce and seeks to build collaborative and supportive working environments and relationships.

If you believe in our mission of creating healthy families and communities, and like a fast pace, collaborative and team-oriented environment, then Heartland Family Service is the agency for you.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Heartland Family Service Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program is a nationally recognized, evidence-based model that provides comprehensive, community-based support for adults living with serious mental illness. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver individualized treatment, rehabilitation, crisis support, and recovery services that help individuals build stability, independence, and meaningful lives within the community.

This is an exciting community mental health leadership role for an experienced licensed clinician who is passionate about both direct client care and team development. The ACT Clinical Lead provides day-to-day leadership, clinical supervision, mentorship, and operational oversight for a dynamic multidisciplinary team while maintaining a smaller clinical caseload. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact through relationship-centered care, innovative problem solving, and collaboration with community partners.

We are seeking a highly skilled behavioral health professional with experience serving adults with complex mental health needs who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Ideal candidates are strong clinicians, natural mentors, and collaborative leaders who value recovery-oriented care, staff development, and community engagement. Opportunities for program development, leadership growth, and supervisory training are encouraged and supported.

Compensation: between $58,000 and $73,376 per year (salary is based on total years of relevant experience)
