How You Will Make a Difference

• • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, suicide and violence risk screens (e.g., C‑SSRS), and ASAM when indicated.
• • Obtain collateral, verify benefits, and coordinate bed placement with nursing/medical leadership.
• • Consult with the on‑call psychiatrist/NP; formulate provisional diagnoses and recommendations.
• • Document clearly in the EMR and communicate decisions to patients, families, and referral sources.
• • Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• • Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.

What We’re Looking For

• • Active independent licensure (e.g., LISW‑S, LPCC‑S, LMFT‑S, or state equivalent).
• • 2+ years acute behavioral health or crisis evaluation experience.
• • Expertise in risk assessment, de‑escalation, and payer authorization processes.
