Job Status: Non-Exempt / Hourly
Compensation: up to $67,630/year
Primary responsibilities include:
15-20 client caseload in a residential substance use disorder program.
Facilitate one or two mental health groups at the residence as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Conduct assessments on clients to assess their mental health needs.
Provide psychotherapy to those individuals to address those needs.
Perform and conform with medication self-administration with oversight duties as per policy.
Collaborate with the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to address medication management issues.
Facilitate consultation and referrals with other providers.
Provide therapeutic intervention services when needed.
Provide case management services to support clients linkages to the community.
Must be able to maintain documentation in accordance with OASAS standards, maintain client confidentiality, as well as strong staff/client boundaries, and high ethical standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
One of the following certifications is required: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or NCC. Must maintain license/credentials at all times.
Minimum of one year experience in Substance Use Disorder Treatment or Mental Health Counseling. Experience with multiple age groups and various treatment modalities preferred.
