Job Description - Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (Confidential)

 We are seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the overall operations of our client's Skilled Nursing Facility. The LNHA is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, staff leadership, and operational excellence while promoting a positive, resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities



  • Oversee the daily operations of the Skilled Nursing Facility.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS requirements.

  • Lead and support department heads, including Nursing, Rehabilitation, Social Services, Dietary, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.

  • Promote quality resident care and a safe, resident-centered environment.

  • Develop and manage the facility's operating budget and financial performance.

  • Monitor census, occupancy, and business development initiatives.

  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate department leaders and staff.

  • Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

  • Maintain survey readiness and coordinate responses during state and federal inspections.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and community partners.

  • Qualifications





  • Active Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the applicable state.

  • Previous leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey process, reimbursement, and long-term care operations.

  • Proven leadership, financial management, and team development skills.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
