Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Licensed Service Plumber to deliver high-quality installation, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services across the Greater Pittsburgh area. In this role, you will perform technical repairs and complex project work for residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, cleanly, and up to local codes.

Our plumbing division handles everything from routine service and drain care to major project installations—including gas lines, sewer line repairs, water line replacements, backflow testing, and tankless water heater retrofits. Responsibilities and Expectations

• Perform installation, repair, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems and equipment across Allegheny County.

• Diagnose causes of plumbing and mechanical malfunctions, conduct necessary component testing, disassemble/assemble fixtures, and complete durable, code-compliant repairs.

• Lead and execute specialized project work, including gas line installations, sewer line repairs/replacements, main waterline replacements, jetting, camera inspections, and tankless water heater conversions.

• Conduct certified backflow assembly testing, inspections, and repairs as required.

• Maintain clear, direct, and professional communication with customers, facility owners, and office dispatch personnel regarding job status, repair options, and project timelines.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania Plumbing License

• Technical school training and/or a diploma from an accredited plumbing apprenticeship program (e.g., Allegheny County Plumbing School diploma).

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on plumbing service experience, including proficiency in drain cleaning, high-pressure water jetting, video camera diagnostic inspections, and piping repairs.

• Certifications:

• Active DOT Gas Certification (or ability to obtain/transfer upon hire).

• Active Backflow Prevention Certification.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical plumbing issues and repair options clearly to property owners.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (MVR), and willingness to undergo standard pre-employment background checks and drug testing.
