Licensed Surveyor

Summary

Our client is seeking a Licensed Surveyor to lead and oversee land surveying activities for commercial and civil construction projects. This individual will manage field crews, ensure survey accuracy, prepare survey documentation, and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys.


• Review and certify survey data and deliverables.


• Supervise field crews and survey operations.


• Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.


• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers.


• Ensure compliance with state regulations and industry standards.


• Utilize surveying technology and software to produce accurate results.


• Maintain project schedules and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements 

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RLS) license.


• 5+ years of land surveying experience.


• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, or similar surveying equipment.


• Strong understanding of land surveying principles, practices, and regulations.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


• Valid driver's license.
