About Aspenhill Care Co.
Aspenhill Care exists to make high-quality mental and behavioral healthcare easier to reach, easier to coordinate, and more responsive to the needs of the whole person. We partner with families, schools, and healthcare professionals to recognize concerns early, connect people with appropriate care, and support progress across home, school, and community settings. We currently serve families across Columbus, Lima, Toledo, and surrounding Ohio communities.
The Role
We're hiring a licensed therapist to deliver school-based behavioral health services directly to students — individual therapy, diagnostic support, and consultation delivered where kids already are. You'll work in partnership with school staff and families to identify concerns early, provide clinical support during the school day, and coordinate care that carries beyond it.
What You'll Do
- Provide individual therapy to students on-site at partner schools, addressing ADHD/attention, anxiety, mood, emotional regulation, and school-related concerns.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and clinical assessments to clarify student needs and guide treatment planning.
- Deliver therapeutic groups and psychoeducation for students and, where appropriate, parents/guardians.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators on behavioral health concerns and classroom-relevant strategies.
- Engage parents and guardians as partners in the student's care, with appropriate consent.
- Support students navigating school refusal, adjustment difficulties, and transitions.
- Coordinate care with outside providers (pediatricians, psychiatric providers, case managers) with proper authorization, ensuring continuity beyond the school day.
- Refer students to psychiatric or higher-level care when clinically indicated.
- Maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation.
Who You Are
**Required:**
- Active, unrestricted Ohio licensure as an **LISW** (Licensed Independent Social Worker) or **LPCC** (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor).
- Experience providing therapy to children and/or adolescents.
- Comfort working independently in a school setting, coordinating with staff who are not clinicians.
- Strong written documentation skills and familiarity with clinical recordkeeping.
- Ability to pass a background check (BCI/FBI) as required for work in Ohio schools.
**Preferred:**
- Experience with ADHD, anxiety, autism-related needs, or emotional/behavioral regulation in youth.
- Familiarity with IEP/504 processes and school-based service delivery.
- Bilingual candidates welcome.
- LISW-S / LPCC-S (supervisory designation) a plus.
**Also considered — associate/supervised level:**
If you hold an **LSW** or **LPC** and are working toward independent licensure, we welcome your application. Aspenhill provides clinical supervision toward LISW/LPCC, and compensation is structured accordingly for supervised roles.
What Aspenhill Offers
- Mission-driven work with a coordinated, whole-person care model.
- School-based schedule aligned to the academic calendar. [ADD SPECIFICS: hours/week, # of school sites, travel between sites]
- Clinical supervision toward independent licensure (for LSW/LPC applicants).
