Position Summary:
The Woodlands Country Club is seeking attentive, responsible, and service-oriented Lifeguards to join our Aquatics team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for members and guests. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and committed to delivering a high standard of member experience while ensuring all safety protocols are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool activity to ensure the safety of all members and guests
• Enforce pool rules and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary
• Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area and remain alert at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting members and assisting with pool-related needs
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards or incidents to management
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up pool areas and ensuring cleanliness
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and daily activities

Qualifications:

• Current Lifeguard Certification (e.g., Red Cross or equivalent) required
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
• Strong swimming skills and physical stamina
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior lifeguarding or aquatics experience preferred, but not required

Availability:

• Flexible scheduling required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
