Light Driver-Stake Bed

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Stake Bed Truck Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a stake bed truck and transporting material throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.

The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing excellent service while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stake bed truck while following all applicable DOT and company safety regulations.


• Transport material from locations throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.


• Load, secure and transport materials safely and efficiently.


• Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.


• Verify delivery quantities and obtain required customer signatures or documentation.


• Provide professional and courteous customer service at each site.


• Maintain accurate delivery records and required paperwork.


• Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard personnel, customers, and management.


• Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.


• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while managing time effectively.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver license, standard Class C, non-CDL with a clean driving record


• Previous experience operating a stake bed truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred.


• Experience securing and transporting materials safely.


• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials as required.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Reliable attendance and punctuality.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries throughout the day.


• Ability to work in varying weather and outdoor conditions.


• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety

Physical Requirements

• Physical Strength: Must pass Pre employment physical and Drug screen


•  Work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).


• Sensory Demands: Hearing, vision, touch, smell and taste able to read and write in English language 


• Problem Solving: Staying calm and finding solutions in high-stress roadside environments or heavy traffic.


• Hand Movements: Repetitive motions, gripping

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7AM – 3:30PM, occasional Saturdays
This position may require an early start time and occasional overtime based on delivery schedules and business needs.

Pay Rate: $21-24/hr.
