Line Cook

Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers is seeking a skilled and passionate Full-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. 

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in maintaining the highest standards of quality in our dining offerings. If you have a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience at a hotel or country club, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes following established recipes and guidelines

- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain exceptional food quality and presentation

- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed

- Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders for ingredients and supplies

- Contribute to menu planning and development for club events and regular dining service

- Adhere to food safety standards and maintain a clean and organized workstation

- Adapt to a flexible schedule, as it may vary based on club events and dining demand

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience at a hotel or country club

- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and culinary terminology

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with the culinary team

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking methods and menu items
