Job Description - Line Cook

Westmoreland Country Club, located in Export, PA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.   

 

Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and portion controls.

  • Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and station setup.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.

  • Properly label, date, and store food products.

  • Assist with banquet and special event service as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members.

  • Support a positive, respectful, and professional kitchen culture.



Qualifications & Skills:



  • Previous cooking experience required (restaurant, club, or banquet environment preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.

  • Culinary school training is a plus but not required.



Schedule:



  • Full‑time or part‑time positions available.

  • Flexible scheduling based on club operations.

  • Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
