Line Cook (48, Ka Makana Ali'i)

Line Cooks must have knowledge of cooking techniques & procedures, kitchen equipment, and kitchen operational systems. Line Cooks must have the ability to work and communicate well with others, work both independently and in a team, follow directions, as well as maintain a positive attitude toward the work and company. Line Cooks must also maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance, observe company dress code, and support the company culture, values, goals and mission.

Line Cooks must be able to abide by company policies, house rules and guiding principles. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• preparing menu items from prepped ingredients


• consistent execution of standardized recipes


• maintaining product quality standards


• observe and enforce company standard operating procedures


• ensuring all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed


• supporting prep duties as necessary


• providing excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Previous culinary experience working in a high-volume food establishment preferred.


• Knife and cooking skills required.


• TB Clearance required.


• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
