About our property:

Originally opened in 1949, the Beachcomber's name captures the essence of the property. It's all about the beach. Put your toes in the sand and soak in the sun on 200 feet of private beachfront. As was the norm in the early iterations of Florida hotels, Beachcomber's rooms all open up to a lush courtyard featuring tropical gardens, pools and endless spots to relax in the shade. No matter where you are, at the Beachcomber, you're always just steps from the beach and within earshot of live music emanating from our legendary beach bar, Jimmy B's!  

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We’re looking for a Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in delivering quality food—every single shift.

If you have solid line experience, stay cool under pressure, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative culinary team, this could be the perfect fit.

As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in daily kitchen operations and in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines

• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned workstations for service

• Execute dishes efficiently during high-volume service periods

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times

• Work closely with chefs and fellow cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations

• Assist with prep, restocking, and closing duties as assigned

• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment

What are we looking for?

• Previous line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen is required
• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it 
• Strong working knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment​
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
• Dependable, punctual, and team-focused
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
