Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Compute Engineer (L3 SME) with expertise in Linux/Unix infrastructure, AWS, and Terraform. The role involves serving as the highest technical escalation point, managing large-scale enterprise Linux environments, driving automation through Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring system stability, scalability, and compliance. The candidate will lead incident resolution, patching, and operational innovation while contributing to CI/CD integration for infrastructure deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as L3 SME and escalation point for Linux/Unix infrastructure.
• Manage and support RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS, SUSE, and Unix environments.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of OS, kernel, filesystem, storage, networking, and performance issues.
• Lead OS patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure system availability, stability, scalability, and compliance.
• Drive resolution of critical incidents and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) with preventive measures.
• Review and approve compute infrastructure changes.
• Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization.
• Implement proactive monitoring and self-healing mechanisms.
• Reduce toil through automation and operational innovation.
• Develop and maintain shell scripting and automation solutions.
• Automate provisioning, patching, compliance checks, and operational tasks.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform.
• Support CI/CD integration for infrastructure deployment activities.
