Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Location

Note

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and have at least 2 years of litigation experience, including hands-on involvement with pleadings, discovery, and motions. We welcome motivated attorneys who are ready to take ownership of their work and grow their litigation practice.

Job Description

• Manage litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution, with guidance and collaboration as needed.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct discovery, review evidence, and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as appropriate.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing practical legal guidance and regular case updates.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver strong legal representation.
• Manage case deadlines, maintain organized files, and meet annual billing expectations.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation.
• Hands-on experience drafting pleadings and motions and managing discovery.
• Experience with trial preparation or court proceedings is highly valued.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage assigned cases independently while working collaboratively with a legal team.
• Comfortable with an annual billing expectation of at least 1,500 hours.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with legal technology.

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 
• 2 to 3 yrs: $100K–$110K; 
• 4 to 5 yrs: $111K–$123K;
