Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Location

This is an on-site position in New Windsor, New York. You'll work closely with attorneys and clients in a collaborative office environment where communication and teamwork are valued.

Note:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of litigation paralegal experience. Experience supporting civil or commercial litigation is highly preferred.

Job Description

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparation.
• Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Manage court filings in state and federal courts, including electronic filing.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and litigation calendars.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics.
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, discovery responses, and case documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third-party vendors.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of litigation tasks.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, witness files, exhibits, and courtroom materials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements.
• Experience drafting legal documents and managing case files.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
