Our Load Builders are responsible for pulling lumber and building materials to fill customer orders for delivery. Load Builders are required to maintain a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard; loading and unloading of lumber and/or building supplies, and operating a forklift. 

Requirements

Load Builder responsibilities include:

• Accurately pull loads as per the pick ticket and stage loads for delivery.

• Construct units in such a way that the load is customer friendly.

• Double check loads for accuracy.

• Load material on trucks for delivery.

• Assist customers in the yard and warehouse as needed.

• Daily inspections and maintenance of forklifts.

• Store lumber and building materials properly. Protect from weather and damage.

• Assist purchasing and receiving. Unload vendor trucks and put stock away properly.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and customers.

• Perform any special assignment/projects as required by the Yard Manager/Dispatcher.

Requirements:

• Ability to routinely lift, carry, and move 100# to specified areas.

• Ability to build and arrange loads properly.

• Experience driving a forklift.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Hardworking, Responsible, Motivated Individual.
