Job Summary: 

To function as team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of inbound consumer lending communications for the credit union. 

Salary: $19.50/hour DOE

Location: 3301 E. Global Loop Road

Daily Responsibilities:

• Loan Payoffs.   Calculating and providing accurate loan payoff quotes to members, dealerships, and other authorized third parties.  Properly document and record the payoff for future reference.
• Loan Application Status.   Identify the status of recently submitted loan applications and answer basic application related questions.   Connect members with the appropriate lending representative to assist with completing their loan application.  Notify lending departments of necessary follow-up with members.
• Loan Payment Info.   Review loan payment information with members for their new loan.   Provide the various methods to make monthly loan payments.   Provide supporting documents and copy of Welcome Packages.
• Past Due Loans.   Provide basic account information for members who are past due on their loan.  Connect members with the appropriate Collection Department staff for more detailed assistance.  
• Loan Extensions.   Provide members with the process instructions and document(s) necessary to begin their request for a loan modification or due-date-change.   Coordinate with Collection Department and Loan Servicing Department as necessary.
• Make Loan Payment.   Provide payment options to members for using the online and/or telephone channels to make their loan payment.  Process the loan payment for the member if necessary.
• Title/Lien/MVD.   Answer basic questions regarding member inquires involving their title, lien, registration or other MVD related subjects.   Connect members with the appropriate HFCU MVD staff as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of six months of similar or related experience. 
•  Equivalent to a high school education.
