Job Opportunity: Locum NP/PA in Cardiology

Join a premier healthcare facility in Jackson, Michigan, known for its commitment to quality care. This Level II trauma center specializes in providing comprehensive hospital-based services to adult and geriatric patients. We are seeking two Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to fill our inpatient rounding team and improve patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service.


• Provide discharge instructions and manage post-procedure care.


• Collaborate with physicians during inpatient rounds.


• Participate in leadership and teaching opportunities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.


• Acute Care trained (preferred).


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings.


• Familiarity with Epic EMR system (preferred).


• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Michigan license.


• BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.


• DEA registration.
