Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Join a skilled and dedicated team of healthcare professionals at a reputable 204-bed acute care facility located in Loxahatchee, Florida, known for providing over 30 years of exceptional service. The facility boasts a full-service children’s hospital and a Level III NICU, and it regularly hosts pediatric residency and medical school rotations. We are currently seeking an experienced, Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist for per diem coverage, with a focus on labor and delivery support in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 labor and delivery coverage as part of a 4-physician team.


• Engage in OB triage, deliveries, patient management, surgical assists, and fetal monitoring.


• Deliver emergency room coverage as needed.


• Work closely with a support team that includes Level III NICU, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, and pediatric subspecialists.


• Manage over 1,800 annual deliveries and 3,200 triage encounters.


• Be available for specific dates including October 9, 11, 20, 23, 24, 25, and 29, with potential for future opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN [REQUIRED]


• Minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience [REQUIRED]


• Florida state license preferred (or in process) or active IMLC compact eligibility.


• Must have completed Prescreen Questionnaire.


• CV in MM/YYYY format with explanations for any gaps in employment.


• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days of submission).


• Provide case logs showing a minimum of 50 deliveries within the last 24 months [REQUIRED].


• Include home address, phone number, and email on CV’s first page [REQUIRED].

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Florida license preferred, IMLC compact eligibility considered.


• Board Certification in OB/GYN is required.
