Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team of General Medicine Providers in beautiful Houston, Arkansas, offering essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation's Veterans. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct PRN assessments, including one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.


• Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.


• Provide expert opinion and documentation as required, including addendums and medical opinions.


• Complete necessary administrative work within the designated work rate structure.


• Option to work either half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based on availability.


• Support Veterans by delivering quality assessments in either your own office or designated facilities.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.


• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).


• AANP certification is required.


• Active and unrestricted full license in Arkansas.


• Willingness to complete DMA training and become DMA certified.


• Experience in general medicine or compensation and pension evaluations preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas.


• Current AANP certification is required.


• DMA certification process must be completed upon hire.
