Locum - OB/GYN: Gynecological Oncology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Gynecology Oncology

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading hospital facility located in Lansing, MI. This position is for a full-time, Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologist, providing essential hospital-based coverage. The facility offers a supportive environment for its medical professionals and is equipped with a level I trauma center.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinic and in-patient consults.


• Perform GYN cases, ensuring high-quality patient care.


• Oversee discussions related to chemotherapy, currently transitioned to medical oncology.


• Manage an average of 20 patients in clinic and 3-4 OR cases daily.


• Participate in the on-call schedule, with a call ratio of 1:4.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Gynecologic Oncology (REQUIRED).


• Truly Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology with a minimum of 2 years of experience (REQUIRED).


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field (REQUIRED).


• Active State Medical License in Michigan (REQUIRED).


• Clean malpractice and license history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• BLS Certification (REQUIRED).


• ACLS Certification (REQUIRED).


• DEA Certification (REQUIRED).


• NPDB self-query is required at presentation (to be pulled within 30 days).
