Locum - OB/GYN: Obstetrics and Gynecology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Obstetrician & Gynecologist - Locum Position in Kearney, NE

Summary: Join a dynamic team in Kearney, Nebraska, where you’ll provide essential inpatient coverage for an established OB/GYN practice. The facility is a 268-bed regional referral center that offers a comprehensive range of acute care services. As a provider, you will be comfortable with all OB/Gyn procedures and responsible for daily patient rounding as well as handling any consultations that arise during your assignment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be on-call to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries, including both vaginal deliveries and c-sections.


• Provide gynecology call to the emergency department; conduct consultations and treatments as required.


• Manage and diagnose conditions during pregnancy through the postpartum period.


• Perform major and minor surgical procedures related to the female pelvis and associated structures.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.


• Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.


• Active Nebraska medical license or IMLC with active Letter of Qualification.


• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.


• Availability at the time of name clearance is required.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology - REQUIRED.


• Nebraska medical license or IMLC with active LOQ - REQUIRED.


• Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology - REQUIRED.


• Clean malpractice history - HIGHLY PREFERRED.
