Job Title: Locum - Physician - Oncology

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a respected main hospital in Lansing, Michigan! We are seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist for a locum opportunity from January 11th, 2027 to April 1, 2028. The facility is conveniently located across the street from a level 1 trauma hospital in a vibrant community. You will primarily work from a clinic setting with a patient population focusing exclusively on adults.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient oncology care for adult patients.


• Manage various types of cancers and some benign hematology cases.


• Maintain patient documentation using Epic EMR.


• Consult and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care.


• Participate in clinic activities Monday through Friday (3 days a week).


• See an average of 17-20 patients per day.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Oncology (required).


• Active Michigan State Medical License (required).


• Current BLS certification (required).


• Clean malpractice and license history (required).


• NPDB self-query (to be pulled within 30 days) (required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified in Oncology.


• Active Michigan State Medical License.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
