Shifts: 12 -hour Physician shifts 7a -7p plus night
call

  12 -hour APP
shifts 7p -7a

Daily census: 15 -18

EMR: EPIC

Summary:

An Emergency
Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a
strong clinical background and be able to provide high -quality care to a
diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to patients in the
  emergency department
  
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical
  conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and emergencies
  
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  
• Administer medications
  
• Initiate and manage patient care plans
  
• Provide education and counselling to
  patients and their families
  
• Work collaboratively with other
  healthcare professionals
  
• Participate in continuing education and
  professional development activities
  

Qualifications:

• Board -certified or board -eligible in
  Emergency Medicine
  
• 3+ years of experience in an emergency
  department setting
  
• Strong clinical skills and judgment
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
  skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part
  of a team
  
• Commitment to providing high -quality
  patient care

• ACLS
  
• BLS
  
• Board Certified
  
• PALS
