Job Opportunity: Locum Pediatric Hospitalist in Williston, ND

Summary: Are you a dedicated Pediatrician looking for a rewarding opportunity? Join a reputable facility providing inpatient Pediatric hospitalist coverage in Williston, North Dakota. This exciting role involves admitting patients from the ER and providing ongoing care for hospitalized children. Experience a well-structured supportive environment with a focus on pediatric care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cover all newborn births, pediatric admissions, and rounds/care for admitted hospital patients.


• Admit patients from the emergency room.


• Participate in 24-hour shifts, with average patient volume of 2-4 neonates and 1-2 inpatient pediatric patients daily.


• Manage handoffs typically occurring at 4am or 4pm.


• Work 6-10 days per month, with shifts varying based on seasonality.


• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation and charting.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics (Highly Preferred) or Board Eligible (Required).


• North Dakota medical license (Highly Preferred) or accepted IMLC with LOQ (Required).


• Current certifications in PALS & BLS (Required) or NRP (Required), and DEA (Required).


• Clean malpractice history (Highly Preferred), with consideration for dismissed cases.


• Availability upon name clearance (Required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Pediatrics (Highly Preferred).


• North Dakota State License (Preferred) - IMLC with LOQ accepted (Required).


• PALS & BLS certifications (Required), or NRP (Required).


• Current DEA registration (Required).
