Locum - Radiation Oncology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology

Join a dynamic healthcare facility located in Lansing, Michigan, as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist specializing in Radiation Therapy. This outpatient setting offers comprehensive care across multiple locations with a varied patient population. The need for this position is immediate, with the potential for credentialing taking approximately 30 days. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct chart checks including initial and weekly reviews.


• Perform machine QA and HDR treatment planning.


• Supervise SBRT treatment operations.


• Provide patient care in both outpatient and occasional inpatient settings.


• Utilize the Aria documentation system/EMR for patient records.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified ABR/ABMP (REQUIRED).


• Active Michigan license (REQUIRED).


• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (5 years or longer preferred).


• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues (REQUIRED).


• Local providers only; travel reimbursement applies to mileage.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess an active Michigan license.


• Board certification by ABR or ABMP is required.
