Locum - Surgery: Vascular - MD/DO

Join Our Team as a Vascular Surgeon in Springfield, OH

Located in the heart of Springfield, Ohio, our community hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our adult and geriatric patient populations. With a focus on inpatient care, we are currently seeking a dedicated physician to fill a critical role in Vascular Surgery from August 7 to August 10. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a supportive team in a vibrant community setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative care for a variety of vascular patients.


• Perform emergency surgeries on vascular patients as needed.


• Take consults and referrals from the Emergency Department and other hospital providers.


• Engage in daily rounding and maintain a 24-hour call schedule.


• Utilize Epic for patient documentation and EMR.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (Required)


• Active Ohio Medical License (Required)


• ACLS Certification (Required)


• DEA Registration (Required)


• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues (Required)


• Availability for the specified coverage dates (Required)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess a valid and active Ohio Medical License.


• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery is mandatory.


• Current ACLS Certification is required.


• Must have an active DEA registration.
