Logistic Technician

MISSION

Manage the Transportation of all materials (External Logistics) assuring the continuous and efficient flow and reduce and optimize the internal cost of Transportation and Import/Export (Customs and Brokers).

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• Negotiate and reduce the internal cost of: Transportation, Customs and Brokers


• Manage the import/export process of materials according the local requirements and legislation


• Organize the normal/urgent transports from suppliers and to clients.


• Define the transportation plan (milk run, pick up)


• Identify areas for improvement in his/her area and to participate in the continuous improvement activities of the area following the FMS lean model and the strategic guidelines.


• Lead the A3 of Transportation Cost and the improvement team.


• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.


• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.
