AGI Hi Roller manufactures a line of premier commercial enclosed, dust-tight and self-reloading conveyors, designed for installation in grain handling facilities, soy and corn processing operations and industrial operations. It specializes exclusively in the design and application of conveyors which will not only contain dust and spilled materials but will also automatically reload that material back on the carrying surface of the belt.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Associate II to support the daily logistics operations by assisting with receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials and finished goods. This intermediate-level role works independently to ensure accurate and timely shipments, troubleshoots issues, and ensures efficiency and accuracy across logistics processes.

The Team

You will be supported in this role by the AGI Logistics team and on-site logistics team consisting of shipping, receiving, and inventory control professionals.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute daily logistics operations with minimal supervision


• Troubleshoot discrepancies and resolve routine issues


• Train new Level 1 employees


• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards


• Coordinate across departments (production, planning, customer service)

Department Specific Responsibilities

Shipping:

• Coordinate daily shipment schedules and priorities


• Generate shipping documentation (BOLs, labels)


• Interface with carriers and resolve shipping issues

Receiving:

• Inspect incoming materials for quality/damage


• Process receipts in ERP system accurately


• Coordinate returns or discrepancies with suppliers

• Ability to receive inbound materials and identify discrepancies between purchased components and job requirements

International Shipping

• Prepare export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists)


• Ensure compliance with customs regulations

• Ability to work with AGI Logistics to gather and provide accurate documentation, ensuring proper classification and use of logistics codes


• Coordinate with AGI Logistics to prepare documentation for freight forwarders and brokers

Inventory Management

• Analyze inventory discrepancies and root causes


• Maintain accurate system transactions


• Support audits and inventory optimization

• Ability to receive inbound materials and identify discrepancies between purchased components and job requirements


• Inventory Management should be capable of sourcing accurate part numbers, analyzing historical usage patterns, and identifying trends to improve decision-making

Truck Loader (Yard)

• Plan efficient trailer loading for space and weight distribution


• Manage dock schedules and yard flow


• Ensure proper documentation accompanies shipments


• Loading and organizing full truckloads based on component weights and dimensions, aligned with product style

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in international shipping, logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.


• Working knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping documentation.


• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or transportation management systems


• Experience with international trade compliance programs


• APICS, CSCMP, or other logistics-related certifications
