The Role

The Logistics Coordinator supports inbound and outbound material flow through receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, shipment documentation, and basic system transactions. Ensures material is handled safely, accurately, and on time in support of projects, operations, and customer commitments. The logistics coordinator plays a key part in driving operational excellence and supporting Convergix’s mission to be a trusted partner in industrial automation. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, identify, and move materials to assigned locations using approved methods and equipment.


• Perform picking, packing, kit preparation, staging, and internal material movement for project or production needs.


• Process basic receiving, shipping, moves, issues, and other required ERP or paperwork transactions accurately.


• Prepare labels, packing lists, and shipment documentation while supporting inbound and outbound material flow.


• Support cycle counts, location accuracy, housekeeping, and inventory discipline.


• Inspect materials for visible damage, quantity discrepancies, or paperwork issues and escalate exceptions promptly.


• Follow safety rules, material-handling procedures, and standard work at all times while supporting warehouse and dock operations as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• 0–2 years of warehouse, logistics, stores, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.


• High school diploma or equivalent required in most locations.


• Ability to work safely with material-handling equipment, warehouse procedures, and basic shipment documentation.


• Basic computer, scanning-system, or ERP transaction literacy preferred.

Desirable

• Amazing interpersonal skills


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Deltek Vision (or similar ERP system) 


• Experience with International Shipping is considered an asset 


• Forklift license preferred

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk and hear.


• Occasionally lifts or move up to 25 pounds.
