Job Summary:


Loss Mitigation Specialists is a full-time on-site position located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Loss Mitigation Specialists are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of loss mitigation requests, compliance with federal privacy law, and responding to inquiries from borrowers, heirs, title and real estate agents, and estate attorneys.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Knowledge of loan servicing and loss mitigation techniques

  • Experience in a customer service, mortgage servicing setting, or real estate

  • Process incoming requests for loss mitigation intervention.

  • Receive and resolve correspondence from borrowers and other interested parties.

  • Provide regular reporting to management.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information and interactions.

  • Adhere to all established company policies and procedures

KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS



  • High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent is required

  • Some college preferred

  • Detail-oriented, able to handle confidential and sensitive data, proficient in using software

  • Customer service experience

  • 1+ years loan servicing or real estate experience

  • Ability to review and analyze legal documents

  • Strong problem solving & critical thinking ability

  • Exceptional written and oral communication

  • Competent in organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization

  • Ability to work well as an individual contributor as well as be part of a team

  • Detail oriented with attention to accuracy

  • Impeccable punctuality and attendance

  • Highly dependable (daily responsibilities/tasks, and project deadlines)

  • Proven Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook experience

  • Positive attitude and professional image at all times

  • This position is an onsite role in Tulsa, OK. where the work will be performed.

  • It requires the mandatory successful completion of a federal background check to include criminal background check, credit check, and fingerprinting.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMNTS


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


Work is performed in a professional office environment with no unusual hazards. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, mail equipment. Ability to move about inside the office operate in a typical office setting with low-to-moderate noise. 


This role is onsite in Tulsa, OK where the work will be performed in a secure Federal Government location.


The position’s work shifts are between 7am – 7pm Monday through Friday.
