Lounge Manager

Embassy Suites Brunswick is currently seeking a Lounge Manager to join our growing team!

As our Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for organizing, managing and directing the hotel's lounge and beverage departments to generate profit to meet or exceed budget while focusing on top-line revenue goals and cost containment

This is a tipped position, you will manage a small team and also work the bar.

Responsibilities 

• Plans and sets pricing for menus and specials according to business and pricing strategies with F&B Director, Restaurant Manager and GM. 


• Develop creative menu ideas that are market-driven 


• Controls beverage quality daily by ensuring the quality of ingredients and that recipes meet standards.  


• Maximizes revenue and controls costs.  Monitors progress against hotel and department expectations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED PLUS two years of restaurant experience.


• Some experience with restaurant computer systems and Excel useful


• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English


• Basic computer skills


• Basic math skills 


• Organized and experienced in cleaning and keeping areas tidy
