St. Vincent de Paul Store Positions

Store Roles

Role	What this job does
1. Assistant Store Manager	Helps the store run smoothly each day. Supports employees, helps customers, and solves problems when needed.
2. Bric (Non-Clothing Items) Pricer	Looks at donated books, toys, dishes, decorations, and other home goods. Chooses a price and puts a price sticker on each item.
3. Bric (Non-Clothing Items) Runner	Moves priced items to the sales floor. Places items in the correct area for customers to shop.
4. Clothing Hanger	Puts clothing on hangers. Keeps clothing neat and ready for the next step.
5. Donation Attendant	Greets people who bring donations. Helps unload items, thanks donors, and sorts items into the correct area.
6. Floor Associate	Keeps the sales floor clean, neat, and stocked. Helps customers find what they need.
7. Store Cashier	Rings up customer purchases at the register. Takes payments and gives receipts.
8. Store Manager	Leads the store team and makes sure the store runs well and safely. Helps employees and customers and oversees daily store activities.
9. Clothing Tagger	Attaches the correct price tag to clothing. Makes sure each item is ready to be sold.
10. Clothing Pricer	Looks at donated clothing and chooses the price. Marks each item before it goes to the sales floor.

Requirements for All Positions

Job tasks: Do the main tasks for your job. You may ask for reasonable accommodation. A supervisor may sometimes give you a different task and will explain it.

Schedule: Work times may change. Some jobs include evenings or weekends. Management will share changes when possible.

Movement: Many jobs include standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Work areas: Most work is indoors. Some tasks may be outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, or snowy weather.

Clean and safe spaces: When assigned, help sweep, mop, take out trash, sanitize, organize, or clean restrooms.

Training and support: You will receive training and instructions. Ask questions if something is unclear. Supervisors can give guidance, feedback, and support.
